On so many occasions on the authority of President Buhari, he has demonstrated his capacity as a dependable Vice and his leadership resourcefulness to all Nigerians as the chairman of the national economic council together with the 36 Governors, he has also strengthened the economy and ensures poverty reduction across the country.

Osinbajo carries the youths along because he believes they will have a better chance of making a significant impact in politics through productive ideas, rather than relying on their age.

Research revealed that Osinbajo, more than any previous Vice President in the nation’s history has made some neoteric significant contributions in the areas of reducing farmer-herder conflicts, restoring peace in the then volatile Niger-Delta region, promoting Small and Medium Enterprises, establishing the biggest social investment programmes in the continent and commitment to upholding human rights alongside quashing gross violations in Nigeria.

He initiated the largest social investment programmes which comprise the N-Power Programme, currently employing 500,000 graduates; the GEEP loans (Market Moni, FarmerMoni and Trader Moni), providing credit to over 3 million Nigerian traders, artisans and businessmen; the Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, amongst others.

When the nation experienced a recession in 2016, President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Osinbajo to lead the delegation to broker peace with the communities in the 13 oil-producing States. It takes an efficient leader to do that successfully as the destruction of oil installations and pipelines stopped after the visits and oil production output rose again helping the overall economic output of the nation after the 2016 recession.

Recently in a speech, Yemi Osinbajo promised that kidnapping, banditry and insecurity generally would soon become things of the past as Nigeria would soon vanquish them.
